OK! I finally got my app up and running. I am using Claude Code.

I don’t really have any idea what I’m doing, but experimenting and seeing what will work. Especially for non-programmers. I think vibe coding could be an amazing way to democratize software development.

So far, I’m using:

Claude – AI for creating the code, asking questions like what tech to use
Cursor – IDE with AI (on Claude) well integrated
Vercel – Build & deploy
GitHub – Code repository

I have had this domain for a long time. I’ve even had a few sites up, but not a while.

One of the first things I wanted to do with my “summer” is update it and start posting more.

I had AI – specifically Claude, Sonnet 4.6 to help me figure out what tech stack to use.

The experience was… interesting. I was able to follow it through having spent a number of years installing software on Linux servers, but there were a lot of missing steps and forgetting.
